
Clive Carver
Chairman
Clive is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA) and was for 30 years a fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (FCT). While working in the UK broking industry Clive gained more than 15 years’ experience as a Qualified Executive under the AIM Rules where he ran the Corporate Finance departments of several of the larger and more active Nominated Adviser firms.
He is also an experienced non-executive director having been chairman of a number of AIM companies in recent years.
He was appointed non-executive Chairman in October 2006 and became executive chairman in June 2012.

Kuat Oraziman
Chief Executive Officer
Kuat Oraziman runs the Company’s operations in Kazakhstan. Kuat Oraziman is a trained geologist and member of the Academy of Sciences.
Kuat Oraziman has three decades of business and oil & gas experience in Kazakhstan and abroad and 20 years of oil and gas experience in Kazakhstan. His experience has included managing an import and export businesses, the establishment and operation of an international brewery in Kazakhstan and acting as the Kazakhstan representative of Phillips and Stork. Kuat holds a doctorate in science and is a trained geologist.
The Oraziman family hold in aggregate 50.5% of the Company’s shares. He was appointed to the board as a non-executive director in November 2006, became an executive director in 2008 and was appointed CEO in 2012.

Aibek Oraziman
Chief Operating Officer
Aibek Oraziman was educated in Kazakhstan and in the United Kingdom. He has more than 16 years oil and gas experience in Kazakhstan, including 3 years in the field at Aktobe.
He was appointed to the Caspian Sunrise board on 21 August 2020 as a non-executive director and became Chief Operating Officer on 1 January 2026. He holds 1,046,909,030 shares representing 46.43% of the shares in issue shares.

Seokwoo Shin
Non-executive director
Seokwoo Shin was educated at Sungkyunkwan University in Korea. He worked for the Korean National Oil Corporation from 1987 until 2018 with spells in Korea, the United Kingdom, Russia and most recently Kazakhstan, where he was responsible for KNOC’s Kazakh oil fields.
He joined Caspian Sunrise in 2018 and in March 2021 was appointed the board as Chief Operating Officer, he became a non-executive director on 1 January 2026.
